SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY
Please note that all our policies, terms and conditions should be carefully read before placing your order to ensure compliance and help us serve you better.
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation message, this indicates would be prepared for delivery. After your pieces have been prepared, you will receive a shipment confirmation with your tracking number in your email, showing that your order has been picked up by delivery, and is on it’s way to you.
On the day of delivery, you would receive a message, to expect your package.
Once an order is processed and shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Orders are processed 24-48 hours after order confirmation.
Please take note of our Size guide, to avoid placing an order in the wrong size.
Most of our Pieces are made to order, therefore, delivery takes 5-10 working days within Nigeria, and 5-15 working days for international orders, after order confirmation.
During our annual sale, due to the volume of orders we receive, delivery may take a bit longer than usual, kindly allow a maximum of 5 extra working days.
We take pride in the quality of our goods and services and desire that our customers are satisfied with their order. Before every package leaves our facility, it is carefully checked by our quality control team, If you receive an item with defects, notify our Customer Service team immediately via customer@dominabymichelle.com, or WhatsApp +2348094020536 to enable us rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
RETURNS
Our return policy lasts 10 days after delivery, if items aren’t received 10 days after delivery, items would be disqualified, and sent back to customer’s address. Kindly contact our team if your order has been sent out but is experiencing delay, and yet to be received by us.
1. Request a Return
– Visit our Returns Portal or email customer@dominabymichelle.com, and follow the instructions given
2. Pack & Ship
– Use the included prepaid label, or follow instructions given.
3. Refund Processed
– Once received & approved, your store credit would be issued within 1-3 business days to your account on our website.
Exclusions
– Discounted or sales items arent eligible for complimentary return.
– Items without original tags, gifts, packaging or showing signs of wear & tear not caused by us, would be rejected.
REFUND
DBM ONLY offers Refund in store credit. Once your returned order is received, inspected and approved by our team, your would immediately receive an email containing details of your store credit, which you can used at anytime on the website.
EXCHANGE
In the case of an exchange, a store credit with the equivalent amount of the returned order ( excluding shipping fee), would be issued to your account, you can use your store credit to place a new order.
In a case where a customer places an order for a wrong size, and demands an exchange ( in new / correct size), she would be responsible for shipping item(s) back to us, and would also pay a new shipping fee ( if applicable). Store credit are issued after your order has been received, inspected, & approved.
Custom or Made to Measure orders do not qualify for Returns and Exchange. These are orders altered, or made in customers stated measurements.
Items bought at a discount, worn or used items also aren’t eligible for Return & Exchange.
Shipping fees are non refundable.
Goods are classified as defective if they are received damaged . Please note that Domina by Michelle would not take liability of goods damaged as a result of wear and tear, or failure to correctly follow care instructions.
PLEASE NOTE
All SALE items, custom orders and Gift cards are FINAL SALE which means there would be No Returns and Exchanges for all Discounted items. We are happy to issue a store credit for all original priced items that are unworn, unwashed, and unaltered in their original unused condition including original packaging, tags and gifts attached.
Damaged, soiled , worn, washed, perfumed or altered returns won’t be acknowledged, would be refused and returned to the shipper’s address.
Customs and Duties Charge
International shipments (outside Nigeria) are subject to the assessment of duties and taxes imposed by the importing country’s government. DBM has no control over these charges as they vary depending on the country. Though charges are the customer’s responsibility, We would try to avert these duty fees the best way we can.
Since we cannot predict these costs at checkout, we advise contacting your local customs office for an estimate.
REFUSED PACKAGES
We strongly advise against customers refusing parcel deliveries. Should a package be refused, & duty fee unpaid, it will be returned, incurring a $50 return fee. Your subsequent store credit will be issued minus this charge, and the non-refundable initial shipping cost. Furthermore, if our delivery partners receive no communication from you, they may classify the package as abandoned and dispose of it. In such cases, you become ineligible for any store credit.
